As a Home & Community Care worker with Auscare Staffing, you will support individuals to live independently in the comfort of their own homes.
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and providing companionship. Depending on the role, you may also support clients with transportation, appointments, and social activities.
Support Workers: Assist with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and offer companionship.
Respite Care Workers: Provide temporary care to relieve family carers.
Community Care Assistants: Support clients with transportation, medical appointments, and social activities.
Personal Care Assistants: Help with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
A passion for helping others and making a difference in the community.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in care work is preferred but not required.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent) is a plus.
A current National Police Clearance.
