Key Responsibilities of a Support Worker
As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance with daily activities and personal care for individuals in the community or residential settings. Your role may include:
Assisting clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
Helping clients with mobility and daily activities.
Supporting clients in maintaining independence and quality of life.
Administering medications (if required) under supervision.
Offering emotional support and companionship to clients.
Reporting changes in clients’ conditions to healthcare professionals.
Ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.
Supporting clients in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being.
Following care plans and working with families and healthcare teams.
